The Match Ceremony celebrates an important event in the lives of our students. Today, members of the graduating Class of 2009 will find out where they will undertake the next stage of their medical education: residency training.

The Match Ceremony is one of the most exciting and joyous occasions to occur each year at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

The ceremony archive will be available after the event. A Match results page will be available at a later date.

Important Information For Webcast Viewers / FAQs

You MUST have the free Real Player application installed on your computer in order to view the webcast. If you DO NOT have Real Player already installed on your computer, you will need to go to http://www.real.com. Follow their instructions for downloading and installing the required files. Once Real Player has been installed, return to this page in order to view the webcast.

When I view one of the Live Webcast pages my browser is having problems connecting, what can I do?

We are aware that some browsers, particularly those with older versions of the Netscape browser (4.0 or lower), have problems with Real Player when embedded in a page. In order to bypass that issue, you have two options:

  1. Use Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or greater; or
  2. Use Firefox 1.5 or greater; or
  3. Use one of the following links to open one of the live webcasts in Real Player all by itself:
    • Click HERE for the first live stream.
    • Click HERE for the second live stream.

What software do I need in order to view the webcast?
