Medical School Alumni Transcripts Requests

Requests must be made in writing including alumnus' signature--no fax or email submissions accepted--and submitted to the address below:

  • Effective May 1, 2007 there is no fee for transcripts. You may order transcripts by mail or over the web at the CaneID Authentication Service
    For any alumni without a caneid just click on "First time using CaneID?" and follow the instructions.

Enrollment and Degree Verification Requests


The Miller School of Medicine's Registrar's Office will no longer be processing Degree or past enrollment verification . As of May 10, 2005 the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree and enrollment verification. If you are an Employer, Credit Grantor, Insurance Company, Background Screening, etc. please contact the National Student Clearinghouse at any of the following:

We do not verify fellowships, residencies, or certificates. We only verify MD degrees for the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine MD Program.

Student Loan Verifications:
  • Students enrollment for loan purposes is verified to the National Student Loan Clearinghouse on a regular schedule during each semester. The Clearinghouse then automatically updates your status with all of your lenders.
  • If your lender does send a deferment form to you and insists the form be completed, please sign it as required (borrowers signature) and forward to our office. We will then send it to the Clearinghouse so they can update the lender. You can also verify your enrollment status by going to the National Student Clearinghouse website. If you have any questions, you can contact them directly at 703-742-7791.

  • Registration and Tuition Information:
    • Registration payments go to MYUM ( https://myum.miami.edu/ ) click on MY STUDENT MENU then on Billing and On-line Payments.
    • Please remember to change your current address on the MyUM system, while you are enrolled it needs to be a local address.
    • To mail your tuition payment (check or money order) please put your student id number on the check and send it to the University of Miami lockbox:
