Clinical Schedules
ATTENTION, we have put some fixes into place
that should remove the Known Issues listed below. Please let us know if you still have trouble
and we will do our best to resolve your problems with the Clinical Scheduling System.
KNOWN ISSUES: A few people are running into problems with this system. One known issue
is that after submitting a schedule addition or trying to submit a schedule edit, the user
may get a "Cannot display this page." error page and be locked out of further access until
they log in again. This issue is known to occur on machines running Windows with Internet Explorer,
and any operating system with the newest version of Netscape (Pheonix?). Older versions of Netscape
aren't having any problems at this time. Mac-specific issues are unknown at this time.
In order to resolve this problem for Windows users running Internet Explorer, there are some steps
that can be taken:
- First of all, for Internet Explorer users, make sure that your browser is version 5.52 or
higher. IE 6.0 is a good choice now that a number of issues that it had have been resolved,
and is the default upgrade when you go to Windows Update.
Follow the on-screen instructions in order to properly install the upgrade.
- Next, download THIS fix. Once you have downloaded the file, run it by
double-clicking on it. When it is done, it should let you know. After it is finished, reboot your machine to have
it go into effect.
Once both of these criteria have been met, the "known" issues with the scheduling system should be
resolved for you.
